I am using Chem Draw 12 and Win Office 2007. As I use ChemDraw a lot in my line of work I like to paste images directly into documents as 'chem draw objects' so that I can directly access the data file for later editing. Until now when i have been using older versions of chem draw this was never an issue. Unfortunately whenever I try this now with Chem Draw 12 Office 2007 crashes on me. Even if I open an older Office 2007 file where drawings were imported from an older version of chem draw and I try to double click on the drawing office will again crash.

Any help is much appreciated.

Can you please retest the problem after repairing CambridgeSoft ChemDraw Ultra 12.0 and MS Office 2007 using Add/Remove Programs from the Control Panel?

If you still run into any problems please contact support@cambridgesoft.com with the sample file not behaving properly.
