When using a sans serif font (e.g. Arial or Helvetica) for atom labels, the characters are not centered over the actual bond junction. Serif fonts, in contrast, do produce centered atom labels. This slight shift to the left for sans serif fonts introduces a small, but disagreeable defect in the position of atom labels, particularly in heterocyclic rings. Is there a setting I'm not using which will force the centering of atom labels over bond junctions even for sans serif fonts?

It would be helpful if you can send a sample file along with the structure (ChemDraw document), that is not behaving properly, so that we can reproduce the problem here; please visit http://www.cambridgesoft.com/contact/support/ to submit a ticket, to get assistance from our Tech Support Team
