The various mouse pointers (e.g. lasso, fragmentation tool, text, etc depending on which tool is selected) appear as different lines of gibberish in Windows 8 and now Windows 8.1. I had this problem with Chemdraw 13 on a Surface Pro and now Chemdraw 14 on a Surface Pro 3 tablet PC. This can make it difficult to use the tools, e.g. clicking on a specific point. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you please retest the problem after reducing the screen resolution (say something like 1366 x 768) and the display smaller (100%) or medium (125%)?

If you still need any assistance, please visit http://www.cambridgesoft.com/contact/support/ to submit a ticket, to get assistance from our Tech Support Team

Does this mean that it does this is to be expected at high resolutions. I have the same problem with Surface 3.

The cursor on my surface 3 is also very difficult to use. I tried messing about with the screen resolution and it got worse. It would be nice if this was patched in the future, it maybe doubles the amount of time spent drawing structures.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.

We aware of this issue and has been reported to R&D. So we can hopefully address this in a future release.

The only workaround for the issue is reducing the screen resolution (say something like 1366 x 768) and the display smaller (100%) or medium (125%).

Now it is 2017 and I downloaded ChemDraw 15. I have a surface pro 4 and not even going down with the resoltion really helps. It is really sad, I have been using ChemDraw for at least 20 years but the last couple of updates didn't really bring many improvements. I got me the surface because the iPad app has never been developed and I was hoping this windows hybrid would do the job but obviously it doesn't.

Same problem here and same frustration...

I have a Lenovo Yoga 370 with Windows 10 and use ChemDraw Ultra 14... The cursor/pointer is driving me nuts... Incredible that such a problem exists.
