Hey everybody,

I'm starting a project to quantify signal volumes with volocity and designed a measurement protocol for this purpose. Is it possible to apply this protocol in bulk to all my cells without having to it manually each time?

Is there some kind of API to interact with Excel or even R?

Thanks a lot!

Hi,

Yes, it should be possible to apply your protocol to a batch of images/image sequences. There is a batch processing function which allows for changes/enhancements to be made to multiple images, this includes contrast changes, changing colours, as well as measurements.

The process would be along the following lines:

- Open the Volocity library

- Highlight the images/image sequences you wish to analyse

- go to the 'Tools' menu > 'Measure'

Here you can select the measurement protocol and the appropriate channels you wish to apply it to from each image/image sequence.

There is more information contained in the Volocity Userguide, I've pasted a link in below:

Feel free to contact the Informatics Imaging Support desk as they will be able to offer further assistance if required - Informatics.Support@perkinelmer.com

Hope this helps.
