Follow this check list if there is no laser light to the sample:

  • All equipment turned on including the Laser Engine and the ProSync
  • CSU turned on (both controller and head if unit is a CSU-X) and key set to ON position.
  • LASER Key on the front of the ProSync turned to the ON position
  • LASER ON LED on front of the ProSync is illuminated (this indicates that laser saftey interlock is closed)
  • Empty reflector turret position in the scope
  • Microscope light path set 100% to the UltraVIEW port (this is typically the left side port on an inverted scope)
  • Correct Laser Engine type set in software (double click the UltraVIEW Laser Changer in the Volocity acquisition contriols to check the type that has been selected)
