Answer:

ChemDraw ActiveX is required for chemistry sections in E-Notebook Enterprise. If you are using the version of ChemDraw ActiveX which comes with your E-Notebook installers, there should be no conflict.

When you install 3rd party updates, and see issues with our software, try repairing or re-installing it. If your environment meets the prerequisites listed in the corresponding Release Notes, then it is qualified and supported.

Following an IT desktop software update we noticed that we were getting a ChemDraw ACX not registered error when we tried to open or create new ChemDraw sections. Are there any known conflicts that we should be aware of regarding the ChemDraw ACX component?

We found the fix to be going to the Uninstall Programs and use the "Repair" option.
