Lines and ticks render in data visualizations as thin, grey lines. These are easy enough to see in the Spotfire interface, but harder to see in exported visualizations (and for reporting/paper writing purposes, inconsistent with figures made in other software). Is it possible to change the appearance of these lines? An alternative to is export a data table and re-create the visualization elsewhere, but this would save time! |

As far as I know the lines and ticks render from axes cannot be changed. Only workaround I know of is to create gridlines in Lines&Curves and create horizontal and vertical lines with your exact values. These gridlines can be formatted.

You can use Visual Theme to change the color of ticks and lines to a daker color so that they are more appearent. If you are using Spotfire 7.10 or higher, then Visual Theme is reflected when exporting to PDF. If Spotfire 7.12 or higher, then it is reflected to PowerPoint and Image destination. |

Visual Theme can be accessed from Spotfire Analyst menu bar > View > Visual Theme > Edit Custom Theme > Details > Visualization scales. |
